Theatre Forum is searching for a new board director. We are looking to co-opt a person who wants to help make our sector stronger and our membership organisation more inclusive for future generations of artists, arts workers, and audiences. If you’re interested in helping develop Theatre Forum and lead change in the professional performing arts sector, please get in touch.
The role
We welcome applications from producers, artists, freelancers, artistic and company directors. The initial period of co-option is fifteen months after which time the director will have an option to stand for election at the company’s September 2024 AGM for a further term of three years. The Board meets up to a maximum of eight times a year with some additional working group meetings and planning days. Experience of being on a board is not essential as induction and training will be provided. Theatre Forum is a registered charity so the board director position is voluntary and unremunerated, though travel expenses will be paid.
