Outreach Coordinator at Galway Community Circus
Galway Community Circus (GCC) is seeking to hire a dynamic and efficient Outreach Coordinator to coordinate external bookings, projects and partnership programmes.
The Outreach Coordinator is a new key role within the company that will work closely with GCC’s Education Team to engage diverse communities through circus arts participation.
Key tasks involve liaising with project partners, processing email and phone requests, managing bookings, and developing new relationships and programme strands.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work to tight deadlines, find solutions, adapt plans, be IT competent and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:Â Â
− Coordinate and support delivery of projects and partnership programmes
− Oversee tutors in the delivery of these projects, events and programmes, ensuring project teams are briefed, supported and have adequate resources
− Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and resources
− Project planning – this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks in accordance with the needs of the project and target group
− Oversee the monitoring and evaluation framework for allocated projects and programmes, ensuring relevant and necessary data is collected, collated and reported on
− Track the progress of the project, manage risks and implement any necessary changes throughout the process
− Develop and nurture excellent relationships with partners, artists and other project personnel
-Organise, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
− Produce comprehensive final reports on projects, including spotlighting successes and challenges to enhance learning for the next project and the Galway Community Circus team

Role Requirements:Â Â
EssentialÂ
− Relevant experience in a related field
− Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
− Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
− Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
− Detail-oriented. Excellent file management and administrative skills
− Ability to work to tight deadlines
− Excels at delivering creative projects with passion for inclusive youth arts participation

Sales or marketing experience
Knowledge of circus sector, education sector, health sector
Local knowledge/networks within Galway
Experience with HubSpot CRM

Reports to: Head of Artform Development
Salary: €29,000 per annum
Hours: This is a full-time role. Standard hours are Monday to Friday. This post requires flexibility and availability to work evenings or weekends occasionally. No overtime payments are available. Galway Community Circus operates a time off in lieu system.
Location: Working from Galway Community Circus offices, c/o St Joseph’s Community Centre, Shantalla, Galway and remotely from home.
Probation: This post is subject to a six-month probationary period.
Duration: Initial 2 years subject to funding
