Dublin City Council is pleased to announce a call for proposals to be part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025.
This open call is for events that take place as part of Cruinniú na nÓg, the national day of free creativity for children and young people, Saturday 7th June 2025 across Dublin City. Proposals are welcomed from artists and creative practitioners, professional bodies, cultural organisations and community organisations as well as from children and young people themselves.
We are inviting applications from practitioners who have the capacity to devise, facilitate and deliver creative content and activities for children and young people in any medium (examples include performance, street art, fashion, photography, digital arts, literature, architecture, coding, biodiversity, folk life, heritage, archaeology, landscape). Projects may occur over a longer period of time with a final result taking place on the day of Cruinniú na nÓg in June 2025.
- All proposals must be within the Dublin City Council Administrative Area.
- All proposals must be submitted by 12 noon, Friday 17th January 2025.
- Proposals can be inclusive of all forms of creativity including but not limited to artistic practices. We welcome proposals which make innovative use of creativity in practices outside of the arts.
- In particular, we will prioritise applications that give access to groups of children and young people who have limited access to creative activities whether through bespoke programmes or additional access supports for these cohorts to take part in an event or programme
- We warmly welcome applications for activities that are delivered through the Irish Language and Irish Sign Language as well as in all languages which target specific communities within Dublin.
