Theatre Forum CLG AGM will take place on 30 September 2021. Â
As the first step in the AGM process, we’re asking members to propose candidates for election. Note that while proposers must be paid-up Theatre Forum members, candidates do not have to be members but must agree to the nomination. If you would like to propose a candidate, complete and return a signed nomination form by 2 September 2021. You can consult Theatre Forum CLG Constitution and Theatre Forum Rules of membership for additional information.

Board composition
It’s important that Theatre Forum’s board is a broadly representative one. Theatre Forum would welcome the nomination of people from all parts of our sector, from existing and new communities, and from all social backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures and traditions. The nomination of candidates working in theatre, dance, opera, festivals, arts centres, as well as those working with young audiences is encouraged. Additional useful expertise includes the making, producing and touring work of scale, nationally and internationally. A reasonable geographic spread is also an important consideration.
Theatre Forum is a registered charity, and this is a voluntary, unpaid position.
The Board of Directors meets six times per year plus the AGM (attendance online is facilitated). There are sub-committees and Board members are expected to contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation and attend additional events where possible.
Financial Statements 2020
For candidates and proposers, Theatre Forum’s 2020 Financial Statements are available.
Membership
To nominate a candidate, receive the meeting notice, attend and vote at the AGM, your membership must be up-to-date. Membership can be renewed online or if you’ve any questions you can email manager@theatreforum.ie.
