Department of Theatre, University College Cork
The Department of Theatre (School of Film Music & Theatre) may be seeking candidates to deliver hourly paid occasional lecturing in the next academic years. To that end, we invite persons interested in teaching theoretical, practical, or theory-practice integrated modules on the following courses: BA Theatre and Performative Practice; MA Arts Management and Creative Producing, in the following broad areas of specialisation:
- All aspects of creative producing/arts management
- Devised performance practice (including performance skill teaching) that integrates theatre/performance/cultural theory.
Candidates will be expected to hold a relevant degree as well as artistic and/or industry experience. It is rare that candidates working at University level are suitably qualified with a BA degree only. PhD and MA level candidacies are usually preferred.
