WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This online course is intended for those who have previously completed some basic governance training or have experience with governance structures, and ideally have board experience. An understanding of the fundamentals of governance is necessary in order to fully implement board culture learnings.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
This online workshop will focus on the Board’s responsibility to set and monitor the culture of organisations in the arts and creative sectors.
The course will cover:
- the fundamentals of organisational culture and its relation to the Governance Code;
- codes of conduct;
- an organisation’s purpose;
- and policies and practices the Board should be considering.
Limited bursaries to cover the cost of the workshop are available to artists and freelance arts workers.
