Pathways to Dignity at Work Through Good Governance
In November 2023, the âGovernance and Dignity at Work in Irelandâs Arts and Creative Sectorsâ survey asked Chairs, Board Members, Trustees, and Executive/Senior Management to reflect on their level of knowledge and experience of Dignity at Work policy and process from a Governance perspective. Respondents were asked to share their own experiences and reflections on practices in the organisations they work.
The analysis of these responses – Influencing Change: Pathways to Dignity at Work Through Good Governance – has now launched!
âInfluencing Change has evidenced the positive appetite in the sector for good governance and it has identified areas of concern. The results and recommendations are designed to support Chairs, board members and senior leaders because leadership is critical in creating the right organisational culture for safe and respectful working environments. Good governance is not about what our leaders say – itâs about what artists and arts workers across the sector hear and see and experience.â
