Acknowledge the voice as the radiating instrument it is! This is a two day workshop on two consecutive Sundays to awaken the body and liberate the breath for performance, though it will be ok to come for one sunday only. Â Breath is the fuel for the body. Often the voice is the poor relation to the performance, thin and unconnected to performer and character, but by awakening it and connecting it to the body and the imagination, the voice can be acknowledged as the radiating instrument it is, for use not only for acting but in any situation in life . Each day will work with exercises and short pieces of text using voice and body.
Max Hafler is the author of Teaching Voice and “What country Friends is This?” both published by Nick Hern Books and has been teaching voice for 25 years along with Chekhov Technique and Ensemble work to a range of young people and adults.
