Established in March 2018 Dublin City Council Culture Company runs cultural initiatives and buildings in the city and is involved in the implementation of the Dublin City Cultural Strategy. Collaborating with citizens, communities, cultural organisations, businesses, and Dublin City Council itself, the company’s work is focused on embedding cultural experiences and increasing cultural participation throughout Dublin’s neighbourhoods.
A sustainable city is based upon the foundations of, and interactions between, economic development, environmental sustainability, social inclusion and culture. This new company signals the central role that culture plays in the daily lives of all who work, live in, or visit Dublin.
