Branar Meitheal Producers
Following a successful pilot programme 2021 – 2024 and the Arts Council’s Creative Production Support award, Branar are inviting producers to apply to participate in the next phase of this unique support programme for the performing arts for young audiences sector in Ireland.
Branar Meitheal offers participants a comprehensive programme of bespoke supports, combining those tailored to individual need with a curated group programme over an 18 month period.
Producers Â
Applications are open to professional emerging, established and mid career performing arts producers based in Ireland who are interested in producing theatre & dance for young audiences.
Selection methods Â
Applications will be assessed by panel that include the Branar Meitheal Team and representatives from partner organisations.
Deadline for application is applications is Monday 9th June 2025 at 5pm. Please note late applications will not be accepted.
The programme for selected participants will commence July 2025 and conclude December 2026.
We welcome questions from all potential applicants, but specific access supports and access costs are also available. These supports are for applicants with disabilities to cover any requirements you may have in order to remove barriers that might stop you from completing your application. Branar can cover access costs, as defined by the Arts Council. If you’d prefer to meet one of our team to talk through these guidelines or would like to submit your application in another format (for example, video), please contact meitheal@branar.ie
If you are selected for the programme, we will complete an access requirement audit as part of the induction process to identify and make a plan to meet your needs. If you have any queries or there are barriers you feel limit your access to the programme or application process, please get in touch directly so we can best support you within the means available to us.
