The Watergate Gateways Bursary is open to Artists living in, or from Kilkenny City or County. The bursary will support a total of 5 Artists and applications are welcomed from artists across all artistic disciplines.
Who can apply?
- Artists resident in or from Kilkenny City and County.
Artists with an interest in developing work with Watergate.
Successful applicants will receive:
- Cash funding up to €3000.
- Up to €3000 worth of support in kind as follows:
- Development time in the theatre.
- 1 day / night in the theatre for a performance, work in progress showing or reading.
- Rehearsal and work space.
- Mentorship from Watergate production, marketing and tech team.
- Technical support for performance or showing of work in progress.
- In partnership with Watergate marketing department sharing of stories and insights about work as it develops.
