Spaces in the architecturally unique Firkin Crane are available for a wide variety of rentals, including performances, exhibitions, rehearsals, events, film/photo shoots and more. Its Shandon location is in the heart of Cork, within walking distance of the entire city centre.
The large Smurfit theatre has a 15x9m stage and retractable seating for 238 people, making it an ideal venue for live performance rentals. Firkin Craneâs four professional dance studios of various sizes have double cross-beam sprung floors under maple and provide clean, quiet, private work and event spaces.

The Cooler is a new home for jazz and improvised music in Dublin A former Fyffes banana-ripening unit in The Complex building, amidst the fruit and vegetable market area of Dublinâs North inner city, The Cooler has been redeveloped as a new home for jazz and improvised music in the heart of Dublin 7. Open since January as a community-driven creative space for rehearsal, development and professional workshops, The Cooler also hosts regular performances, meetings and sessions for jazz and improvising musicians.

The Creative Space, located on the ground floor of the Contemporary Music Centre, is now available for booking on a limited basis.
CMC’s Creative Space is a facility for artists active in New Music in Ireland who require space in Dublin city centre for workshops, development work, collaborations and / or rehearsals. Booking is free of charge, and, typically, slots can be booked up to four weeks in advance.
The recommended maximum occupancy for the Creative Space is 4 people. There is a baby grand piano in situ which is available for use.
The Creative Space is typically booked in 3 hour blocks.

Equipment: There is a PA system (Genelec speaker system with Onyx desk) in situ, along with a limited stock of microphones and cables, also usually available for use.
Accessibility: The CMC Creative Space is located on the ground floor of the Contemporary Music Centre at 19 Fishamble Street, Temple Bar, Dublin, D08T2W9. Entry is via CMC’s front door up a short series of stone steps.
Step-free access to the Creative Space is through the wooden exterior gate on Fishamble Street, next door to the front door of the Centre on 19 Fishamble Street. The FRINGE LAB foyer is a drop-in facility with free Wi-Fi and access to printing facilities in the main office. Bring your own laptop and use our communal workspace. The LAB is a hub for the arts community, and features four large rehearsal spaces which can be hired out daily or weekly. The spaces suit a variety of activities including rehearsals, workshops, auditions, classes, film and photo shoots and meetings. Two of the spaces have support wooden floors.
Spaces can be hired on a half-day, full-day, evening, or weekly basis. Patrons have the use of the Green Room (kitchen / break room) on the second floor, with access to tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and fridge. This is ideal for lunchtime breaks, or as a waiting room for auditions. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. The LAB is fully wheelchair accessible. This website offers additional information on travelling to The LAB and accessibility.

The Leinster Cricket Club studio adjoins the Bowling Pavilion in a secluded corner of the club grounds, close to our all-weather bowling green. With a wooden floor and quiet setting this is an ideal space for theatre rehearsals. We make every effort to work with stage and production managers to make theatre companies comfortable with us during their rehearsal periods at LCC. Rental includes the use of an adjoining kitchen with kitchenette facilities available. A dressing room for costumes can also be arranged. Discounted parking rates for attendees. Note, hall is used by the sports club on some evening and we require main floor space to be cleared at the end of the day on these days.
The large Rehearsal Studio 52 x 26ft approx (1300 sq ft) is available for daily and weekly bookings.
The building is entirely separate to the main clubhouse, providing privacy and a self-contained space for our clients. The size of the room makes it a suitable space for preparation for large scale theatre on Dublinâs main stages.
The location of LCC at the heart of Rathmines also provides cast and crew members with excellent transport links.

The Pearse Centre is located in a terraced, 2-bay, 3-storey over basement, Georgian house (built c. 1820) with finely-crafted Wyatt windows and a restored Pearse Street facade.

The Sean O’Casey Community Centre theatre has a 156 seated auditorium complete with back stage, full complement of light and sound systems, large projector with a 12 x 12 foot screen, a variety of tabs and curtains. The theatre has been used for a variety of plays, shows, meeting and conferences. Our local drama group, P.E.G. Drama, have performed 1 act, 3 act, pantomimes and variety shows.
The theatre has also been used by local politicians and resident association for public meetings, by Dublin City Council for arts, dance and music fesitivals, by a variety of companies for training and conferences, and most recently by RTĂ for TV production.Â

Whether commercial or non-profit, we primarily rent to the performing arts community and have two clean, column-free, carpeted studios where all types of live performance can be created.
